Statement
I am Susan Fleming, a mixed media artist raised in Arizona, where my background in fine art education and deep connection to the landscape continue to shape my work. Now based in the Carolinas, my practice has expanded into new, often spiritually influenced forms of expression.
Working intuitively across layered media—including charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, collage, and digital elements—I allow each piece to evolve without a predetermined outcome. My process is guided by exploration, responsiveness, and a search for balance between abstraction and emotion.
Through my work, I seek to engage the viewer’s inner spirit, offering moments of reflection, healing, and quiet inspiration.
